INTRODUCTION TO STAINED GLASS

Our Introduction To Stained Glass course is an in depth class designed to provide a solid foundation of information that you can take and build on once you leave.

The Introduction to Stained Glass class is 5 hours of instruction divided into 2 separate sessions.

You Will Receive Instruction On:

• Safety Equipment and Safety in the Shop

• Basic Tools and Techniques, and Definitions

• Selecting A Pattern and Transferring to Glass

• Laying Out Your Project

• Different Types of Glass and Which You Should Use

• How To Cut Glass

• You Will Learn About Different Foils and How To Choose

• How To Foil Your Pieces

• How To Solder Your Project

• How To Polish and Finishing Touches

• How To Hang or Display Your Creation

• And More

You will walk away from this course with handouts and a beautiful creation made by you to enjoy.

We love to have fun, so come happy and enjoy.

You may bring your own drink and snacks, and breaks are permitted during the class.

You might want to wear old clothing that can get stained or messed up.  ONLY CLOSE TOED SHOES are allowed in the classroom.

**Must be 21 to consume alcohol

We ask you to drink responsibly.

We can provide plastic cups, ice, and platters/bowls for food. Please bring your own plates and utensils if needed.

Booking for Introduction To Stained Glass closes 3 days before the event.  

Classes with insufficient enrollment may be canceled; those who have registered will be notified within 24 hours of the scheduled class time by email.  You can then choose to reschedule or we will fully refund your payment.
